Meme: Randomness

Tuesday, 15th April 2008

I was stuck for something to blog about so Nuttycow said I could steal this meme from her blog, Parlez-vous moo?. (I love that blog title and wish it was mine!)

What was I doing ten years ago?
Ten years ago it was 1998 and I was 16/17! It was a pretty significant year for me. I spent the first half of 1998 with Sarah when I should have been studying for my 5th year Higher exams. I even failed my History exam, probably because I was too busy thinking about the gin-filled ‘end of exams’ celebration that awaited me afterwards! It was worth it though. Towards the end of that year, I left school and got a job in an office! Wow! I loved it and was so glad to be out of school. When I think back, I can’t believe I just left school so suddenly, and I don’t think I quite realised that I would end up not being in touch with people ten years later.

5 snacks I enjoy:
I don’t really eat that many typical snacky things, but if I’m hungry in-between meals, I eat:

  • Rice cakes
  • Toast
  • Cheese
  • Cereal
  • Chocolate (although I haven’t had any in ages)

Things I would do if I was a billionaire:
Obviously I would sort out everyone in my family with everything they need, and I would give to charity. But then!!! Oh boy! I would buy properties!! An Edinburgh townhouse. An old farmhouse in France or Italy (or both). A state-of-the-art apartment in London. Oh how good it would be! I might also build my own house somewhere and get myself on Grand Designs. Oh yes!!! I would also hire myself a fulltime stylist and personal trainer!! And travel all over the world, staying at the best hotels. I might also take James along with me.

5 jobs I have had:
See this old post.

3 bad habits:

  • Needless worrying
  • Thinking negative thoughts
  • Not picking up after myself

5 places I have lived:
I’ve only lived in two places! Edinburgh and here. I have lived in five different houses though, if that counts!

5 people I want to know more about:
This is going to sound really bad but I can’t think of anyone I want to know anything about. There’s always more you could know about the people you already know though. And obviously I read lots of blogs and I’m interested in my fellow bloggers! As for famous people, I’m not really interested in them. I do read Perez Hilton but mainly because it’s funny.

I’m interested in people when they tell me stuff about themselves but I’m not all that good at knowing what to ask people, and I don’t know what I want to know about people. I’m also scared of prying. It’s the weirdo introvert in me!

Congrats. A fine “I don’t know what to write” post.
