Moany

Life is still a bit uneventful. I’ve been feeling moany and I don’t want to moan on my blog. Should I moan on my blog? Maybe I should. I just hate reading back over moany blog posts; I sound so ungrateful. Well, here’s my life at the moment:
Things I’m unhappy about:
- Ashes to Ashes – It’s over. It won’t be back until next year! Alex and Gene didn’t snog!! I might have to perm my hair in protest. (Actually I probably don’t need to – have you seen what my hair is like if I don’t blow-dry it?!)
- The Godfather – I watched it for the first time last week. I tried my hardest to sit through the whole thing. At one point I thought it must nearly be finished but when I realised there was still over an hour to go, I freaked out and left the room in a furious rage! So unbelievably boring.
- Weather – Last week I thought about getting our garden furniture out. Silly, silly girl. Since then, we’ve had snow and gales. I’m sick of having to wrap up and put wellies on before going outside. I’d like my dog to be able to go outside without getting covered in mud. And I’m sick of being cold!
- Driving – James is going on a night-out tomorrow and I have to drive him there and pick him up later. I’m scared. I’ve driven the route a lot but not on my own. What if it snows like last time?
Things I’m happy about:
- The Apprentice – I love this show. It’s a bit more ‘reality’ than it used to be, and they’ll never surpass the first series (there will never be another Paul), but it’s still an excellent, hilarious show.
- Dexter – This gets better every week and Dexter gets yummier too. It does worry me though, that I can relate to a lot of what he says about not connecting with other humans.
- Bionic Woman – Who knew Michelle Ryan had it in her?! Cheesy girl fighting! I like it.
- Leona Lewis – Her new single, Better in Time, is my favourite from her album.
- British Gas – After a year and a half of complete and utter nonsense, my problem with British Gas has been resolved. They have even removed the balance (over £200!!!!) as a sign of good will. I’m not sure I believe it though and won’t be surprised if we get another final demand through the letterbox.

I have loved Ashes to Ashes too (haven’t watched the last episode yet) and not least because the early 80s was my time! I wore that stuff! I danced to that stuff. I am old. And as for The Apprentice? I have already started obsessing over at my blog after just the first episode. I just love that show. Still have a hankering for the Badger from a couple of series back. We must indulge in pointless analysis in our respective comments after next week’s show!
I haven’t seen the Bionic Woman (again, I remember the original!) or Dexter and I’m afraid you lost me at Leeeeeooona Lewis. but yay for British Gas sorting you out!
Oh, and I tagged you for a meme over at mine. Sorry!

I really must watch more tv, lol!
I have heard of Dexter…have NO idea what it is, or what it’s about…
As is the same with most tv (apart from apprentice!)
I LOVE torchwood though I have to admit, yay torchwood, LOL!
Glad the British gas issue is sorted (for the time being at least…GRRR to them!)x

I have to say… if I heard that Bleeding Love song played one more time on the radio, my head may just explode!

Wow, I can barely follow all your Brit speak! I though you blokes spoke English??
Seriously, I love this glimpse into an otherworld. It’s quite lovely.
I also think it’s perfectly fine to be “moany” (moany - ha! So British! Never heard the expression!)on your blog. I’ve often wanted to go back and delete half of what I’m written, but that’s part of the beauty. It shows your realness.
At least that’s what I tell myself anyway….
