Smile Challenge: Blog about something that makes you smile!

I’ve been really sad today. I was outside playing football with Jodie, and I heard the postman coming so I ran inside, excitedly hoping that my new trainers would finally be delivered. They were meant to come within seven days but that was 15 days ago. I contacted the place I ordered them from and they said they would be delivered midweek but there’s still no sign of them.

Instead of my new shoes, I received another debt collection letter on behalf of British Gas for money that we don’t actually owe. This problem has been going on since we moved in here in September 2006 so I’m getting pretty sick of it. It’s incredibly stressful. I felt really down about it for the entire day and I couldn’t find anything to cheer me up. I resorted to playing Sims 2 and drinking gin.

James was really late in getting home tonight as he was busy at work, so that depressed me even more. But he brought me pizza which was really nice. Also, he’s on holiday for the next four days so I’m really happy about that!!
