Smile Challenge: Blog about something that makes you smile!
We watched ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’ tonight. I was armed with my usual scepticism, unconvinced by the trailer and prepared for sappiness. But I enjoyed it! Will Smith wasn’t annoying, and his son was very cute. It made me cry and smile, and it made me feel grateful for the roof over my head.

Diane and I watched it as well and enjoyed it. I can’t imagine how hard it must be to be homeless and a parent. I am so glad that I can’t visualise it.
Diane was convinced I would be in tears by the end as I can’t watch films where boys go through traumatic situations.(A.I. and Road to Perdition to name 2) I managed to watch it without sobbing though.
I cried at Titanic as well which goes against my theory but I must have been feeling emotional that day as no boys are harmed during the film.

I’ve been wondering about this movie, but I haven’t seen it yet. I love movies and books that make me grateful for what I’ve got, but if there’s one thing that gets me crazy like nothing else, it’s health insurance companies. GRRRRRRR.
