Keep going
I feel a bit down today. My muscles really ache and I feel like I can’t manage much exercise. I probably can though. I am still toying with the idea of going for a 30 minute cycle.
Today on the news, they’ve been talking about a study that has been carried out by the World Cancer Research Fund. It says that, to lower your risks of getting cancer, you should aim to be as thin as possible without being underweight and that you should have a BMI of 18.5 to 25. My BMI is currently 26.5 which is worrying. I need to lose about 6kg to be within the healthy weight range, but ideally I think I should lose 10kg. I’m not sure how long it will take me to lose 6kg. Maybe I should just see how I get on for the first couple of weeks and then I can get an idea of what’s possible.
I feel a bit boring at the moment because all I’m thinking about is getting fit but I have to do this and my blog is a good ‘public’ outlet for my progress. I really, really don’t want to lose interest in exercising again. I have to keep going!! Right, I’m going to go and pluck up some courage to go for a cycle.
