I just remembered to check the Pump It Up website as I always do at this time of year (they never ever email me even though I’m on their mailing list) and, as I hoped, they have a new DVD coming out at Christmas! Yay! I love these DVDs so much – it wouldn’t be Christmas without a new Pump It Up. Never mind that I’ve hardly done any of last year’s - I can still get excited about a new one. The only thing is, it’s being fronted by… wait for it… a boy. Weird. I know boys do dancing and fitness too but it just feels wrong. They didn’t put his photo on the front cover so they must know it’s weird. The girls in it look kind of bimbo-ish but I’m sure I will grow to love them as I have with the others. It also looks a bit more dance focused rather than exercises but that’s fine because it’s a challenge and dancing is pretty hard work. Now I just have to work up some energy by Christmas.
